When they aren’t winning, they’re busy being celebrities

The Girls Cross Country and Track Teams have had a hard time staying out of the lime light recently.  They haven’t lost a regular season race in who knows how long.  Just take a look at their schedule this week;

Monday The Girls beat Framingham to start 1-0
Tuesday They’re honored at Fenway in the outfield (see pictures below)
Wednesday They beat Norwood to improve to 2-0
Thursday They will visit the State House, thanks to Walter Timilty

…and they excel in the classroom! Bridget Mitchell and Colette O’Leary both received Boston Herald All Scholastic honors. Ella Affanato, Jessy Iwuala, Abigail Jean Baptiste, Elise O’Leary, Colette O’Leary and Mitchell all received Patriot Ledger All Scholastic honors. Mitchell took home Boston Globe honors as well.

Great job by Coach Tom Shaw, who deservedly won Boston Globe D4 Coach of the Year.

And they aren’t done yet!
