Girls Hockey skate past the Wildcats of Weymouth

Five 1st period goals in the space of five minutes brought the Wildcats to 9 wins already. After wasting a few good chances early in the game, Milton found the net. With 5 minutes to play in the 1st, Scannell opened the scoring with her signature back-hand, fore-hand finish. Buchanan then added a second, opening the flood gates.  Just 20 seconds after doubling their lead, Blasdale added a third. Exactly one minute later Kapolis joined the fun, making in 4-0.  And then, with just :34 showing on the clock, Buchanan grabbed her 2nd of the game.  Both teams would score in the 2nd period, while none were scored in the 3rd.  O’Connell might be frustrated by not getting the shutout, but she was great in a net again, saving 23 of the 24 shots she faced.

The Girls improve to 9-2-1 on the season. Their next game is Saturday 1/28 AWAY @ Natick, at 7:20pm.
